The PO cut the dash to put in a 1 DIN radio. Since it is already cut, I want to put in a GPS from Pioneer with a flip out screen. I don't have the dimensions of it when it is open. Do you think it will hit the dash pad? Anyone done this? If it does not work, I might cut it open some more and jam a 2 DIN into it. The new Pioneer NAV systems are pretty cool.

There should plenty of clearance for the screen.
Going high tech, eh :D ?! Be sure to post pics when you finish the install.

When the screen pops out and flips back, I am afraid it is going to fit the dash pad.

I have an Alpine unit in my Neon. I know I know, my work wheels... Anyhow, it has an adjustable tilt as shown in the picture so it may just work out.
