On my 90 burb, I have a 6" spring lift with IT'S shackles and treatable bolts. When I hit bumps the rear spring eye hits the frame with a pretty good thump. How do you guys keep this from happening? By the way, the shackles are verticle when at rest. Thanks!

How long is the shackle? I assume you meant ord by the autocorrect. You could use a half inch longer shackle if your bushings are in good shape. If they are worn they could be letting the spring hit the frame. If you have the capability, move your front springs forward some.

In the most basic sense, it sounds like your springs are a little too long relative to all my other trucks I have here.

Make sure the bushing mount isn't worn out. I've seen where the mount wears out and the bushing rides higher moving the spring eye closer to the frame.
