I was replacing a broken leaf on my k30 last night and was thinking about how tight to tighten the bolts. I know I the factory torque but for flex do you really need it that tight? On my drag camaro my bolts and nuts just bearly touch the shackels so the suspension will move.

If you're talking about the spring eye and shackle bolts then 50 ft/lbs.

45-50ft/lbs. Any tighter and you will cause the suspension to bind. Like you said you want the shackle to be able to move and work the way it was designed.
