Leaf spring bushings????

I sent My wife to the truck place to get my new energy suspension bushings. And they asked her 10 questions about the springs the shackle and the Tonage of the truck (1/2,3/4,1 ton) I have a 1/2 ton 79 blazer What do I really need to know I told her 1 1/2 for the bushings why would she need to know about the shackle do you get those to do you know what the part # is so I can save there 20 questions had to send her I've been working 12 hour days and there closed when I'm home. Thanks for any help!!!

Evidently GM used a ton of different sized bushings on different trucks throughout the years. The early ones should be mostly the same though. I ran into it with my 89 as some of them went to metric sizes that year, guess I'm one of the lucky ones. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif Also, my bro's 77 has smaller shackle bushings than it was supposed to. The guys at ORD helped me figure out my mess, but I pretty much had to just measure everything.

I'm gonna measure everything first too they list 2 part #'s for the front and the back, why can't anything be easy!!
