NC leaf spring inserts to rebuild leaf springs

Got a set of 8 2 1/2 inch round teflon inserts (D-97) part # teflon-03 from the suspension connection.
All 8 are new! Would not work for my 87 K5 when I rebuilt my spring packs (they go between leafs).

What prevented them from working on the '87 springs?

Insert hole is wrong IIRC. CK springs have square slipper pads with an oval hole to keep them from rotating.

Think these are the 89 and up inserts. They sold me wrong part.

They also look like the ones in my Tuff Country leaves. My springs are newer and I won't need pads for a long time but maybe that will help out someone else trying to rebuild a set
