I am wanting to build some shackles for my K5 with factory spring over mount setup. The shackles will accommodate a "shackle flip" design.
The question I have is, how far do you have to move the spring end to gain 4" of lift at the axle?
From what I had understood before from someone that was pretty knowledgeable, with whom Ive lost contact with... You need to move the spring end 2" for every 1" of lift at the center. Following that mindset, the rear of the spring must be moved 8" to achieve 4" of lift. (It sounds logical to me)
Looking for comments and ideas...
