Will 73-87 year model leaf springs interchange with 67-72 year models?

Will 73-87 year model leaf springs interchange with 67-72 year models?

The rears will fit but the fronts are shorter on the 1st gen stuff.

True to a degree,some of the first generation trucks used narrower leafs and shackles,but if you replace them along with the later springs they would probably work,assuming you get the correct length leafs..some trucks had longer springs than others..
