so, broke the main leaf on my offroad project. in need some some new leaf's.

the question is, replace stock springs (52"), since the front hangers are already in place and one rear hanger is already welded on. or go with longer ones like 56" springs or even 63's from an 88-98?

personally i like the idea of stock. no messing with the front hangers, no re doing my one rear hanger already placed. but if there is a huge gain in flex to be had by going with longer springs i am willing to do so. plus a member has a set of 56" that i could buy. there are other gains to be had with this as well, as i would most likely shorten the wheel base to a more manageable length (120" or so), but that would require me redo the work i just did on the bed, and all kinds of other stuff.

thoughts?

PS. just found a set of 63" leafs froma 93 k1500 truck for $20 Locally. worth moving the whole axle forward for a shorter wheelbase to replace with these 63" leaf's?
