You know when you are a redneck when you turn auto parts into wind chimes.

Actually, I'm painting the leaves so I can put my blazer back together.
I don't recall it being a PITA job. Although, I'm doing two pairs (4 spring packs) at the same time. I still have 14 more leaves to paint.:doah:

Funny.Before the picture loaded, I was thinking it was permanent. I was thinking, Damm, that's going to be huge and heavy.

I used to have about 6 old junk lawn mower cranks hanging from a tree branch as wind chimes...they sounded cool,but I took them down after my neighbors dogs started barking every time the wind blew..it didn't silence them that much though,but I didn't want to have a finger pointed back at me if I complained about the dogs,they would say I antagonized them with the chimes most likely....
I have a steering arm off a GM 4x4 that rings like a tuning fork if you hit it with a hammer--you could probably substitute one for a triangle in the school band!..
