Does anyone know a good company or brand to order replacement leaf springs?

I want to replace them and I am looking for front and back and all components associated with the replacement.

I will upload pictures of my current ones tomorrow.

Lift or stock springs? For stock, you might try Rockauto but the “all inclusive” aspect may be more difficult since you don’t talk to someone.

Perhaps someone like Off Road Design or Diy4x? There are custom spring companies but that can get expensive.

Lifted. So I guess I should take pictures and measure before ordering. Never changed leaf springs so it should get interesting.

I have noticed many sites online are "out of stock" or getting ridiculous prices for original spec leaf springs for square body trucks..one place has rears listed for $500--EACH!..

I was tempted to get a pair of 5 leaf extra heavy duty front springs for my plow truck when J.C. Whitney was selling them for $109 each, but I didn't..now if you can even find any I bet they are $250 each..

I tend to keep an eye out at salvage yards for good OEM springs--I should have snagged a few like new pairs of front 2" lift springs I saw at one place I could have got for $100..

Give General Spring of Kansas City a call (linked above). They will have what you need for a lot less than $250 each. I got a complete rear pair shipped to my door for about $200. I think their front springs are cheaper yet.

I have seen their website in my search for spring hangers, which my truck will need first--they do list the one I need,ATS Spring and LMC Truck and General Spring are the only 3 sources for square body spring hangers for the "front of rear spring" I can find online..no parts stores or aftermarket ones like Dorman are available and probably wont be..not cheap either, $115 + bucks by the time it gets shipped..

My van has a drivers side rear spring that had the "eye" on the forward facing end break off after it got rear ended at a stoplight decades ago,the lower part of the spring eye is still attached to the main leaf, the upper half of it snapped off clean and flew off I guess--never even noticed anything until I had a flat tire one day a year or more later--when I jacked it up with a bumper jack,it ran out of travel and the tire and axle had not come up off the ground--just the weight of the van kept the spring sitting on the bushing!..

I made a crude repair by using 3/16" flat stock as wide as the spring leaves and wrapped it around the spring eye,and used two thick flat metal plates about 1" wide ,one on the top of the spring and one under it,bolted together around the spring, so the spring couldn't come off the bushing..it never did anyways by some miracle, but I wanted it to be at least somewhat safer..

I priced a new spring for it and it seems G body van suspension parts are getting scarce too, many places list "out of stock"...one local spring shop said $200 to put just a new main leaf on it,a salvage yard has a van with 2 nice ones for $40 each--probably go that route rather than new...

Kyle you will want new u bolts with nuts and washers, front and rear.
Also new eye bolts with washers and nuts. Rear upper shackle bushings, and front upper shackle bushings.
Front hd shackles are optional depending on condition of yours.
This is in addition to whichever springs you choose.

Thank you. I will order all those parts as well.

The leaf spring company I linked comes with bushing installed. But you will need to buy the bolts and washers separate, if I remember correctly. Since youre down there might as well changr out the hangars as well

The page you linked me will ship to me. And I can give them the list

"new u bolts with nuts and washers, front and rear. Also new eye bolts with washers and nuts. Rear upper shackle bushings, and front upper shackle bushings.
Front hd shackles"

Anything I am missing on the buy list?

What price for parts only am I looking at? 1K?

U-bolts, bushings, and shackles are cheap items to purchase here. The high-strength bolts can be bought at any good hardware store. The purchase cost should be nowhere near as high as a thousand dollars. Though I don't know what your shipping situation looks like.

On that note, none of these parts are exclusive to this exact model of vehicle. If you can figure out how people over there handle suspension repairs, you should be able to find a local source for bushing, U-bolts, and shackles. These are commonly replaced items on leaf-sprung trucks. Find equivalent parts and save yourself shipping across the pond.

That actually makes a lot of sense. I have a few websites over here I can use. No problem there. Thank you. The springs might not be so easy to locate here.

You might be surprised. Leaf spring geometry is pretty simple science (especially compared to other styles of vehicle suspension) I'd bet you can get close using springs for some sort of locally-popular truck. I guess it depends how expensive overseas shipping is. Eh?

Yeah when I was in the middle east, I found plenty of places to get leaf springs made or re-arched.
Also u bolts.
I never bought anything where I had to ship.
Only when I came here :dunno:

2 things.

1) You said your truck is lifted. Have you verified that they are in fact stock height springs?

2) Look around locally for a spring shop. Like a place that works on Semi truck and dump truck suspension or axle work. I have a place local to me that works on this kind of stuff. They can make U-bolts while you wait and they have spring bolts in stock. I have also bought leaf spring sets and shackles from them.
