after a hard rain water puddles in front of my front seats next to the tranny hump... i cant really seem to find where its coming from but there arent anny huge hole on the outside that i can see... anyone else have this problem? i have some pretty extensive rust on my roof where the removable cap meets the sheetmetal but thats covered and i dont think its coming in there... it seems to be coming from under the dash somewhere. any suggestions would be great. would like to get my carpet and new seats in soon but cant do that with puddles. thanks

under the cowl cover, and around the windshield under the gasket are two common places i've seen rust out quite a bit.

10 to 1 it's coming from the base of your windshield........

actiallly the cowl is a little more common, and less known (who tears a truck down that far- other than me... )

Unless you live up here, where 9 times out of 10 it's from rusted out lower windshield sills.....

well... he doesnt live in Canuckistan, so its probably the cowl.
