Leaking Heater Core...Again!

I have had to replace my heater core twice in one week and it still is leaking. The hoses are tight. What are the chances that I got two defective new heater cores? Am I missing something?

check hoses

a lot of times people use 3/4 inch hose on both the inlet and outlet. Check to see if this is the case. One of the hoses should be 5/8... Sometimes it's hard to get a seal with 3/4 hose on the 5/8 nozzle on your heater core...
