Leaking Transfer Case

Are you sure it is coming out of the vent tube and not where the vent tube attaches to the tail shaft? I ask because mine was leaking at the same spot and it was from the tube being loose in the aluminum TC not the top of the vent. It makes a heck of a mess when you are driving coating all the underside with old ATF and dirt.

Yes it's coming out at top, hits my exhaust manifold, firewall and creates a cloud of smoke behind me.
