np208 is leaking like crazy, i have put numerous new seals in it and it still leaks, where do i go from here?

Where is it leaking from?
Is the case cracked?

it is only leaky from around the slip yoke, case is fine, i havent checked the vent, i even siliconed the seal in this time, filling it up till it pours out of the top fill plug, and the yoke does not have the little hole in the center of it either

when I replaced the seals in mine, the guy at the GM dealer said the main mistake folks make when doing those is not replacing the race inside the yoke...it gets dinged up from taking the shaft in and out and fluid ends up leaking from it. When I did mine, I took the tail section off the transfer case, and replaced everything in it. Got everything from the dealer. Hasn't leaked since.
He also told me not to use RTV sealant onit, to use a GM anaerobic sealant that GM recommends..it cures without air. It was only 1 or 2 dollars for a little tube enough to do the tail section.

My 208 output would seal for a while but then it would begin to leak and drip after a while. I was told to put some grease on the seal before putting the shaft back in so the shaft wasnt turning on a dry seal. It hasn't leaked since.

The part I'm talking about is #11 (2nd from left). it fits inside the tailpiece. It doesn't cost much at all from the dealer. I replaced parts 12,11,8,7 for sure and I THINK 6 & 5 also, and the speedo gear and I had like $45 in it all.
I got this exploded view from the Chevy dealer.
The guy at the parts counter wrote part # 8655031 on it....can't remember what all that entailed...it may the # for that piece... you can have them check.

It's more likely a bushing than a race.
And yes, you should change it along with the seal.
According to my 85 parts catalog GM # for the bushing is 3978765
