Sorry, hadn't had time to search this and I need to head to work and hope to get some replies by lunch.
I rebuilt my injector pod and it ran fine for a day, then started leaking at the top of the driver side injector. Opened it up, I shredded the large o ring. I was unsure how much I needed to seat the injector, so I must have pushed it down too hard and rolled the o ring under the metal ring. I did use transmission fluid to lube the o rings. I tried pushing it down since the pod lid didn't seat on the body (I ended up alternately using the screws to pull down the lid and seat the injectors - was this bad?). I tried the old o rings for kicks and it sealed last night, but leaked this morning.
My questions: can I reuse the lid gasket or do I need to replace it since I opened it up? I also plan to buy new o rings and was hoping to avoid buying the whole repair kit if possible (if not, I'll just buy the kit again). Any tips on installation to avoid jacking up the gasket, metal ring, or o rings again? Anything that will help me not screw this up would be appreciated. Thanks!
