New to the site and find it to be a valuable resource.

Knew I had a small leak in my transfer case but I have a few questions I hope I can get a little help with. Got back from a short highway trip and what used to be an occasional drip was noticeably more.

1. Would the higher engine RPM cause increased pressure in the TC making it leak more?

2. When I park it front end angled down it doesn't leak, when I park it front end angled up it leaks. Does that mean it is my rear output shaft?

3. Is it something I should fix right away or can I wait a little while and just refill it?

Transmission was completely rebuilt less than 5,000 miles ago and I believe everything is stock.

Thanks for the help.

yeah the seal is easy and cheap to replace and a good start now if that wond do it then it could be the bushing inside had gone causing the shaft to eat the seal.
