My truck is leaning about max of a 1" to the passenger side. Its noticable by the eye thats why I give it an inch. I took a look under the truck and everything appears to be fine. Nothing bent or broken. I did go play in a clay pit a few weeks ago and launched it through some sand but no 'harsh' landings. Any suggestions on what to look at?
I thought it might be a rear shackle but those looked normal. Could I have blown out a shock?

Thanks,

Chris

Shocks have nothing to do with the ride height of the truck.

Passenger side springs generally take more of the load from the truck due to the rotation of the pinion (i.e. equal and opposite forces, under acceleration the passenger springs will compress and the driver spring will lift which can wear out the passenger spring quicker).

What are you looking at to compare the height from one side to the other? Its very possible (and typical of K-series trucks) that the body/frame has moved around some.

I'm looking at the height of the front fenders and used a finger and a hip. Then walked to the other side and it was off. Its obvious when you look at the truck. The roof line tells the story.

If the frame has moved wouldn't the alignment be off?

I'll check the bushings real close tomorrow.

Thanks,

chris

Measure the frame, not the body. Post back (use a tape measure).

What about just buying some bulk up products and putting more weight in the drivers seat :wink1:

J/K , listen to the posts above they are pointing you in the right direction :thumb:
