1/2 ton status
I changed out one of my drivers side tank today and put one from a 89 gasser in. Guess what, they have baffles in them! I cut the baffles so my sending unit from the 88 diesel would work. Took it for a drive and put some diesel in it and seems to be working fine and NOT leaking!! Yea me!!
Now I have to run the other tank dry and tackle the passenger side..
On a side note for east coast/rust belt guys, should I run the covers or not?,I believe they hold the moisture and promote rustout. I do prefer the look though.
