I need to learn about TBI. My '87 K5 is a TBI, but here's the problem. I grew up in a family that owned a GM dealership. I wasn't allowed to work on my vehicles and the mechanics did it all (except for my older stuff from the 50s). So as a result, I don't know anything about fuel injection.
I've been having trouble with my k5, but there are so many hacked and plugged off wires from bast hack jobs under my hood it would be impossible to figure out where everything used to be.
Would a regular repair manual adequately explain to me what all the wires are and what they are for? There are disconnected harness wires and plugged off vacuum lines and I don't have a clue what they once did. What's a good source to figure this out?
Thanks,
Brandon
