Led driving lights..

Wow that is a great price for those lights. With the 1 and 2.5 watt LEDs and the wide input voltage range LED driver, its consistent with other high quality lights. As long as they're sealed properly you cant really go wrong with them.

I havent seen anyone try these specific lights before but I've seen some on Rhinos and ATV's and they are pretty damn bright. The ones that I have seen are mostly flood lights but they still light up pretty far and wide. I would recommend the flood style because when you're bouncing around on the trails, spot lights rarely light up the things you need to see.

I can't vouch for those particular lights, but I was very pleased with the quality and performance of the LED turn signals I got from them...

LEDs are the future for sure.... As pricing gets cheaper they will become a no-brainer.

The power consumption is minuscule compared to a conventional bulb, so the wiring and alternator required to run a huge amount of lighting gets a lot simpler.

Now the only big electrical load to worry about on my truck will be the 80A current draw of my dual cooling fan setup. :yikes:

:usaflag:

that's not a proper driving light.....will probably blind the hell out of oncomming traffic. a driving light should have a sharp cutoff and be designed for that purpose.

cool lamp though

We spent a lot of time this year researching lights for the race car.

We ended up with Baja Designs lights. Then we got one of their 10" LED bars.

These things are way cool, bright and IMO a perfect light for a street rig, race car, or causal offroader.

They are relatively small, very bright, and have brights, dim and strobe, all easy to use.

This is the bar we have,

Stephen got the chance to drive his blazer back from Moab EJS this year in the dark and said that he loved the LED bar on it. Very Bright, not a lot of on coming traffic objections to it and it's so low profile that they will fit about anywhere.

Baja Designs has taken the time to design their lights from the ground up and probably have the most advanced LED lights on the market. Take a look at them.

Thanks guys for the feedback....
Im still in the hunt and i dont really want to spend that much on one but maybe i get crazy and do a light bar on top of the windshield.
