Well I wanted to wire some up in the K5 but is there anyway i can wire them where there on when the switch is OFF and off when the switch is ON?

Thanks

Why would you want a light on in the car is not running.

In the other way you can find any cable wichs gets hot when you put the ign switch in the start position, and bypass that wire to a led and the leds ground and youre done.

What are you powering with the switch? If it's a decent load, it will probably work as a ground path for your LED when the device is not powered. So take a simple 2-terminal switch and wire the LED right across it (with a resistor).

This doesn't work for everything, but for things like lights, radios, etc., the small current from the LED goes right through it without actually powering the device.

Just don't wire up your LEDs so that they are on the whole time the vehicle is off.

Then what I proposed would work great. Is this so that you can find the switch in the dark or something?

A set of 55W Lights

Time for a relay to power the lights... use the NC circuit off of the relay to power the led and the NO circuit to power the lights. But this will keep the light on 100% of the time unless you feed the relay with 12V off the IGN circuit :doah:

So put the LED from terminal 85 to terminal 87

That will only light it up when the switch is turned on.

Between IGN and 87 would leave the LED on whenever the IGN is on, but it still won't shut off the LED with the switch on.

Go to 41.''switches''
scroll to the bottom animation and click ''alternate connection'' then open and close the switch. I think that is what you are looking for. The relay control will need to be wired in aswell.
