What is the difference between tracker and predator. ?

Tracker Series:

- Bars have end mounts (and can use the tube clamps I have)
- Spot pattern is 8*, flood is 90*
- Pods are 2x2 with 4W Cree LEDs (16W total) 1440 Lumens


Predator Series:

- Bars have bottom mounts and are adjustable (You can slide them along the length of the bar)
- Spot pattern is 30*, flood is 60*
- Pods are 2x3 with 3W Cree LEDs (18W total) 1260 Lumens
- Body profile is a little sleeker than the tracker series.

Otherwise they are similar. With the exception of the pods, both series use 3W Cree LEDs. Both IP67 waterproof/dustproof/etc. Both are fully serviceable and well built.

So it would appear for the way I'm trying to mount them the predator actually wouldn't work.

met up with morgan and got my pods today.



i'm digging them. weatherpack connectors. honestly they are better than I was even expecting and for the money, definitely going to get another set plus a bar in the future. hopefully get to test them tonight if I get time and see how much light something so small puts out.

I want flood style as close to 4" height and width as possible. I have about a 4.5" space to work with, and i need pics of how they mount.


Need to fit in the spaces just to the sides of the plate... Gonna be some pretty wicked reverse lights!!! I will try to wire to a switch as well so I can flip on whenever.

Here is a pic of the way these mount typically. I worked up a way to mount them flush also though using some different brackets. If you are interested in that approach, let me know.

these measure about 3.25" (cube) with the top of light to bottom of mount bracket at about 3.5 inches.

finally got some time to finish up the other side
