LED Light Bars!

Small issue I'm gonna copybover from my thread in the garage.

Finally got back in this.

Grabbed a spare relay just to make sure. And this one I can hear clicking on and off so I know it's functioning.
But still no joy.

Basically there is a weather right plug about 6" from the light. On the feed side with everything on in getting 10.5v with truck off.
But as soon as I plug in the light bar side of the connector I only show 5.5v and nothing happens.

Now to confirm my work I also used a battery charger to put 12v to the light bar half and it lit up perfectly.

So wtf?!?
Help me out if you can.
I know what I'm leaning towards but I had to call it a night as the Mosquitos were coming in thick.

Never mind on this. Solved it. Battery wasn't putting out enough volts to fire it. Once the truck was on it worked perfectly. Case closed

Sorry just saw this. Cool, glad you got it worked out!

The 50" bar draws a bit of power. I've hooked them up to old batteries before and half the light comes on sometimes :). Seen a few with reversed polarities as well, but all lights are tested before shipping. I try to at least ensure you don't get a DOA :)

Can you tell me what the overall dimensions of the 20" light bar are? Sorry if you have answered this somewhere in the thread already.

excuse my awesome paint skills :)

just in case you can't see pics: 22" x 3" x 3.5" deep for the light itself

We've got a lot of new products in since I've updated this post last. Also lowered our prices on our Tracker Series lights and made some improvements. The tracker series dual row lights have military spec breathers to reduce condensation build up and next gen optics for better light output.

I still need to update the pics on the website, been swamped, but will get to that soon.

Thanks!

So I have a dual row bar I got from someone else (before I knew you guys) but it is too tight in the opening I have for it. I was thinking about picking up one of your single row light bars. How tall is the bar itself?

the Tracker series single row is 3" (same housing as dual row) I have a couple other single row bars though that are slimmer.

First is a single row bar with 10W Cree LEDs and is about 2.5" tall. these are in stock. (attached pic is of this one). it can mount on the end caps or has adjustable sliding mounts on the bottom.

In a couple weeks I should have a couple other options available including the NightLine series single row. These use 7W Phillips LEDs and are about 1 5/8" tall. I will also have a slim single row using 5W Cree LEDs, 1 5/8" tall as well.

Cool. I'll double check my clearance but 2.5" might be just enough room.

just ordered 2 of the one row 6 pods, best price I have seen for anything with cree bulbs...diodes...electrodes...or whatever the hell they are called.

Thanks.

Thank you!

Lol (diodes). The pods you ordered use Epistar LEDs though, they still put out a good amount of light!

Are those the 7W Phillips modules? How do they compare with the single row Tracker with the 10W Cree?

The single row Tracker would work in the space I have but the NiteLine would give me more room.
Got the NiteLine 20" single row in.

dimensions of the bar itself are 1 5/8" x 3" x 19 3/4"

Thank you!

Just hooked them up last night... they are impressively bright for their size/wattage and the housing is top notch... thanks.

Yep, 7W Phillips LEDs.

its not apples to apples since the optics are very different. the NiteLine is a much more defined beam pattern, has a longer throw and more intense light output. The tracker series lights up the surrounding area more, but not nearly as intense a light output.

I will get some pics. I have some comparison pics of the dual row, but none of the single yet. i will get some up tomorrow if i can or over the weekend for sure.
