LED tail light bulbs worth it?

Just wondering if it's worth upgrading rear tail light bulbs to the LED bulbs?

i have them in my blazer and they do nothing more then a stock bulb would do lol. All they end up being is a pain in the ass to get them in lol

I think that they can be worth it. Depends on quality. Those used on the OTR trucks are much better than the incandesents they replaced.
On the other hand my crew chief put some 1157 replacements in his chase truck and they weren't nearly as good as the incandesents that came out.

Note that they need an electronic flasher as they do not draw enough current to make an eletro-mechanical flasher work.

I wouldn't $pend the ca$h on replacement-style LED bulbs... but the ones that are completely new housings are nice sometimes. Roundeyes.com has some hella bright ones that would be good for rock lights and tail lights.

Since ill go thru a set of rear taillights every time i hit the trails i would not spend any extra $ on tail lights. Now I pull mine off every time i wheel so i dont break them on the trail. LED sound like it would be cool on a dd.
