Left the hood off my blazer overnight and woke up the next morning to see it had rained. Looked at the closest weather station an it had only rained .07 inches. I pulled the carb and dumped out the water and there was barely any in their. I brought it inside to let it dry out. Is there anything else I should do?

Check for water in the intake manifold. Dry out what you can. Pull the spark plugs and crank the engine over to clear anything in the cylinders. Don't let it sit. Get it fired up right away and drive it. Rust on valves and in cylinders is a killer.

you had nothing on the carb???? why?

agree with Wade...pull the plugs, turn it over by hand at least one revolution to empty out all cylinders maybe squirt a shot of marvel mystery oil in the cylinders then get it running asap.

and don't run it without an air cleaner on it!
