But they signal fine, first i thought it was the bulb but discovered that unlike the right side, they dont stay lit unless signaling. I know its a wire, but can anyone narrow it down knowing the fact that both are affected? Thanks

check for power and ground for the light, then trace it back to where ever it goes if it doesnt have power, test lights the easiest i think

Ill try messing around with it. This truck has a bunch of electrical quirks popping up so a few of my grounds are probably bad or going bad..

On that truck it should be just below the headlight bucket under the secondary battery tray. At least that's where I saw mine on Krusty when I installed the secondary tray.

thanks man ill check the ground and start tracing back from that. i wouldnt be surprised if it is my grounds, i got so much dried mud caked on this thing its not funny

the side marker on the side of the fender and the directional is under my single headlight. Ill check the ground there, any other ground locations? I imagine they are all on the framerails?

just took out that ground under the secondary battery tray and cleaned it up the ground, tested the pos batt term to the ground wire and got 24 volts (remember its a cucv so its normal) so any other grounds? or could it be something else

Are you getting power with the headlight switch on to the socket? If not it may be the wire that connects at the fuse box junction.
