anybody know how long would i have to extend my driveshafts for an eight inch lift? or what else i would have to do? besides cross over steering and brake lines.
85 k5 39.5/15/15r TSLs

If'n your interested I've got a complete set of skyjacker 8 inch springs with bushings, front and rear springs, 400 bones plus shipping

ive currently got 8" springs on my k5. the front shaft will actually work stock (im not doing anything to the front shaft until i get my doubler) and the rear one i had lengthened about 4" i think. the rear angle is still bad, but i havent broken any ujoints yet. im not doing anything else with the rear either until i get my doubler finished then i will order new cv shafts. my set up is 350/700r4/208 currently. depending on ur tranny/t-case urs might be different

To do the drive shafts correctly you'll have to do the lift then measure. There is no way to tell before you do it. Different drivetrains and different vehicles all have different results. I have had stock driveshafts from vehicles with the same drivetrains not fit. After the springs are in and it is sitting at ride height measure from the center of the U-joint to the other center of joint.
