Well I went out last night and got my draglink to rub the crossmember. Sky is making me a new draglink cause mine is too long, and I asked him to put the first bend closer to the pitman arm. That will solve the problem, but if they don't get it over far enough I just want too see how others have trimmed it up to clear. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

I just built a new one! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I know it's not what you asked but no one else replied /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Thanks. Yeah I found your pics in my searching adventure. I'll prolly do that eventually, but was just looking for a quick simple fix for now /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

TheBigDaddyof2 trimmed his crossmember in a previous life when he used a straight draglink on his 44 front I believe.
He simply cut off the vertical section at the rear of that engine crossmemeber.
Strength is not an issue because he rocks the piss out of it now with the one ton setup and he broke a hydro assist ram but has never had problems with his trimmed crossmember.(he does run a beefy bent draglink now)
