Let's go wheelin', Sept 1,2,3 Labor Day, Badlands.

I saw a thread on another forum that Badlands recently revamped some of the quarry rock trails. No matter what there will be enough for us to do.

My old club used to have some truck challenges there while trailrunning, stuff like a mud run, sand hill for time, rock run and the winner would get something wonderful like a 16oz PBR or a can of coke.

Maybe if we get a few of us over there it would be fun to do in the afternoon.

Here is what I will be wheeling

Somebody got space on the trailer?
You got something that could tow? You could always rent a trailer, thats what I have done in the past, I need to get a trailer :(.

Oh and if my junks not ready I will be riding with rustybucket. c'mon guys a midwest meet-n-greet is long overdue

Nah, my only other vehicle is a heep cherokee... no towing with that. Might see if my buddy mitch wants to go... he's got a towing setup! :D

cool man, I might get to see that cool bumper you made :wink1:

I might have the rear done too! I guess I could drive there, but would have to take it easy so I can get home.

dang i'm not too sure i couls make it 350 miles. i have no tow rig and my blazer would never drive that long with the tires on it. :(
that would be an excellent early b-day present for me from myself though

FYI, the Badlands is in Attica Indiana, in West Central Indiana. Mostly farming country this offroad park was an old gravel pit.

There are wooded trails with streams and creeks to follow.

I have been wanting to go there for about a year and a half now. I don't get home till 19 Aug and won't have enough time to get the new motor and fuel system done by then.

Oh well, I will make it out there one day.

If anyone wants to check it out, before you wheel. They are hosting the XRRA east coast divisional finals on august 18. You could always go to watch the event and then see what some of the terrain is like.

FYI I took my blazer there 4 weeks after I got it, no lift and 35s. It did pretty well. There are plenty of trails from easy to hardcore. I believe they have like 700 acres or so.

I'd like to go some other time, I have family in Bedford so, I could go to the Badlands as a day trip? I don't know the distance between the two. I hope y'all have a lot of fun, I am going to be in NY with my GF and her parents the weekend y'all are going.
