Let's play "Name that custom part"

Dang thats some incredible welding! Talk about a work of art! I can only one day hope to come to be a fraction of as good of a welder as that guy!

What a innovative idea! A nice beefy crossmember that also serves as a upper mount for a panhard bar.

But what are those hose fittings for?

Would also be nice as a crossmember alone without the panhard bar tabs.

Where does the panhard bar mount to? I'm guessing left side of frame to right side of axle. Know anyone with any pics of it mounted?

Well the welds seem to say DIY4X to me, but I didn't think he painted stuff.

PM Dcubb. The panhard setup is still in the "test" stage, but the crossmember is ready to go and I'm sure that he will make you one.

I saw his in a post a while back and asked gim to make me one. That is it. I'll have to post some more pics. The details are really great and he built it better than I could have imagined. For instance, it has a drain (you can see in the pics) and hose fittings to route and raise your diff vent.

wow those welds look AMAZING!!!! Was it tigged?

And I will 2nd this, did you get it off ebay for 100 bucks?

MIG, broke in my new Miller RC12 feeder on those. My old millermatic 200 is a lot more smooth.

Couple shots of the "prototype" setup during testing. No binding or negative effects to suspension travel. Steering response is night and day compared to without a panhard bar.
