Ok so whats this wire do? Seems to go to the front prop. valve. I want to get rid of the whole wiring harness that goes to the front of the K5 since I no longer need it but this wire is part of that setup.
 
Yep,that the warning light,The piston in the proportioning valve has to be centered or the light will come on.....
 
Yep, it's the brake warning switch that comes off of the combination valve. Ground it, with the key on, and the brake light should come on.
 
didn't even know there was a break light, well since the dash will likely be going as well I don't feel bad getting rid of that.

brake warning, the wire goes to the prop valve on very front x-member, im going to be unplugging mine soon because brakes work fine but the warning light is always on cept sometiems it goes out after pdeal return, but rarely

maybe someone knows why ? truck sat literally untouched for minimum 4.5 years until recently when i rescued it and made it a daily driver

A. CUT the wire to find out what it is
