$3500 to $8000 totally depending on your area. Around here thats a $3500-$4500 truck. Its basically a cleaner all the way done version of what my truck was when I bought it for $2000.

prolly 5K-6K in NYC.........everybody here wants new stuff with sparkley 26" rims. that's a beautiful rig man

Are you looking for a value for insurance or just an FYI?

Insurance would require research of the same basic truck to see what similarly modified, and like condition vehicles have sold for in the general area, and take into account $$$$ invested in your particular truck also.

If for your own wonderment of value, I would add all you have into it, divide by 2.5 and that would probably be close to street value.

Also you would need to find a buyer that "has to have" that truck to get top dollar out of it.

id say somewhere in the 4 to 5 grand range.looks like you got about twice that into it.nice truck by the way.top dollar if you found the right buyer id say you could get into the 10 grand catagory.but as said its gotta be a buyer that just has to have it and money is no object.

$7k, more if it still had the 74 front end, I looked for a stepside 4x4 for months and never could find one as nice as yours.

Nah not insurance although I should do that. Just for my own knowledge. And now I know that the truck ins't worth quite as much as I thought. I was expecting more towards the $10k range. Well probably just because of all the blood sweat and tears I have put into this truck, oh and all the cash too :doah:

BTW thanks for the compliments guys! Check out my build thread in my sig it starts off with the first body restoration and ends most recently with my 355 build up.

That is a nice rig man! I have followed your build for quite some time. Yeah it's to bad the real world just can't fathom the time, money and effort a person puts into doing something like this. Anyway..........nice job!

Thanks,
You know its pretty funny I was just looking through my build thread and I can really see how much I have grown and the truck has evolved since I started back in 2005. I go from messing around with hockey puck body lifts to precise engine tolerances and a complete custom wiring harness.

it's sad that people don't take into account on what we do in addition to the money invested. i just built a ground up shovel FL and have it insured for 10 grand. ain't nobody gonna give me 10 large for her and i couldn't built it for that again. we do it cause we love it, not to make money. you built a nice truck. i drove 30 series stepsides for 10 years.

Around here you would get probably 5 out of it, but would have to hold on to it for a while.

I think e bay for a truck as nice as yours might be the best place to go with it if you ever did decide to sell it.

I have the same problem. I like to think that my truck is worth $10k and its 4 different colors. For me its all about what its worth to you. I feel like Ive got $10k worth of my time and money and that is what the truck is worth to me.

Unless of course I really wanted to sell it and then I would have to be more realistic.

Don't get me wrong man, it's a beautiful rig and i'd be proud to have it in my driveway but the old square bodies just aren't bring in as much cash, with all the body work and no rust you may be in the 5-6 range around here but it wouldn't be a quick sell you'd have to sit on it for a bit.

i hate to say it but it looks like a 4k truck. Would be the best 4k i ever spent though for dang sure.
