They are not for sale in stores .I bought a lot of 24 on govlquidation.com but they come on combat wheels and weigh 200# each assembled .The tires only weigh 97# each . They are also a pain to dismount . They a sold on Ebay every so often . IMHO they are awesome tires . mine didnt need balanced .

Are they a desent tire? where can i get some? thx k10andy

Yep, 11.00R16. On stock rims with 28 psi and about 75 % tread, they were 37 3/4" tall. About 10" sidewall width. Tread width is slightly less. They rode smooth unbalanced. I got them from a surplus place in Anniston, AL. They are pictured with a 4" lift.

yep that jump dusted my 10 bolt i did it four times and bent the axel shaft haha all business.

how exactly do u guys buy them, is it a huge pain in the butt or rather simple, info on buying one would be greatly app. thanks in advance

Make sure that you know what you are getting. They can be a deal, but lots of guys are watching those auctions and usually if no one is bidding there is a problem. Either the truck is way out of the way, has been in a field for 5 years, is missing something you want, etc.

I have scored a couple of decent deals, but remember that once you bid,if you win the US govt expects payment in a very short amount of time (3 days last time I bought a truck) and will come after you if you don't pay. THey are also dead serious about the as is/where is policy.

I'd probably just pick one up for spare parts anyways. The one I'm looking at on the website is parked across the street from where I work. :D :D

The description says it runs and that it has a broken driver's window. Hell if it runs very well I might fix it up and make it my trail rig. :D

Often you can pick up a whole truck for what you might pay for a pair of one tons.
