Lets see some IFS rigs...

^^ that's a nice Suburban!! What size tires and lift? Is that a straight axle too?!?

The tires are 315x16 approx. 35". Although it has 1500 badges, I put a 14blt in the rear with 4.88's, and a 79 Ford Dana 44 in front with an ORU bolt on kit. I used 4" lift, 48" Deaver springs in front plus 3" from the leaf spring brackets. I swapped the stock Suburban rear leafs for longer, aftermarket pickup springs that had a couple inches of lift, with a ORD shackle flip rear bracket. 7" of lift in front and 6" in the back. The front has a pair of Bilstein 5150 per corner, the rear has one 5150 and a 4" stoke hydraulic bump stop.
The truck rides well, but the front is stiff. I'm lucky to keep it moving so I haven't had time to screw with anything yet. I bought this truck new in 1994. It did life as a Mommy wagon until it had a 150,000 on it. In 2003-4 I did the driveway hack. It currently has about 280,000 miles now. The engine was redone at the same time. It's a tbi 383 bored .30 over or 388 cu in.

I wanna straight axle my Crewcab so very much... But, I need to build my wife's 68 Bronco, my 53 M38A1, and maintain my M1008... Someday. Cool rig though!

Got this a few months ago to pull a trailer, its been pretty useful so far. Its a 2001 2500, 4x4 w/ 5peed. Minus all the bling and the aftermarket exhaust its pretty much stock. Other than removing the non-functional light bar and moving up the tool box I haven't changed too much.
