ok let me clarify this I ment NICE FLEX for a IFS truck

hey willys whanter go back and look not at the tires but at the controll arms in the first pic and you will see that the downhill side is against the bottom stop and the uphill side is against the top stop. Thats perty good flex for IFS and the rear isnt doing all of it. Just by pulling the sway bars ifs will flex well enough for most trail stuff, trust me i wheel ifs and it isnt that bad (well maybe its becouse my cvs in my luv are the same size that isuzu engineered for the 1/2ton chevy stuff...)

It's an old picture that has been around a long time. There's like 5 or 6 of the same wreckage. I forget the story but it was something along the lines where the guy in the AMG behemoth knew the guy in the puddlejumper somehow.

I always thought that:
HMMWV = HMMVE = high mobility multi-purpose wheeled vehicle
... and HMMVE is where "humvee" came from. I can't quite see how HMMWV could be said as "humvee"... I'd probably "humm west virginia"... /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Umm, well if you say so man. I guess 2" of compression is good flex now..

Anyway, I wheeled stock IFS for a year and got rid of it because it had absolutely no flex, the only flex I had was frame flex and the rearend...

i had IFS on my toyota 4runner...and when i yoked the swaybar out, it helped A LOT..it flexed as well as my old 88 cherokee with the swaybar still on...

it is? no wonder the one time i got stuck in the toyota it was because i broke a hub....180 bucks for one hub, found a set for 20 bucks, brand new, never used, only installed!, anyways, back to ownage..
