Gnergy(I think that's how you spell it)has got a burb with an engine bay you could eat off of any surface under the hood.Look him up.

That be ME
I spent a lot of time in there while the engine was out mounting the coil, map sensor, and the egr solenoid on the fire wall instead of back on the intake manifold. I cleaned, repainted and ran new wires where needed, and replaced all the wire loom.
Thanks for the nice comments.

Also one from the bottom so you can see the 8qt. oil pan.

So what, do you just stare at that in the driveway all day? I'd go nuts trying to keep my K5 that clean. I have a hard time keeping my Camaros that clean under the hood. Looks good though!

I live in arizona and the wind is always blowing, so it is dusty all the time.
If I need it to be clean, I just take the air compressor and dust it off.
I don't mud it, I use it for camping, hunting and street driving.

:ignore:

That's the mess I'm dealing with right now.The reason the plugs are rusted into the heads that have less than 1000miles on them according to the PO. Powerwash that biatch or you'll regret it later.

Nice pics though. It's getting me fired up for getting my stuff done.I have a week of vacation this week,so maybe I can get something done.

The latest pic. b4 anyone asks, that guage to the left is a Vacuum gauge, used to tune carb. :D
