Lets see those C/K30's....

This one looks photochopped.....

why do you say that? the motion effect is taken when youre at matched speed with the truck while everything else is going 70. with a kinda long exposure it gets blurry and with low light like that its a perfect setup.

blah blah blah... just appreciate them for what they are. Plus if you're going to make fun of them don't make fun of the lack of suspension :) Those put our leaf springs and the occasional helper bag to shame ;)
They may indeed have all kinds of useless crap welded underneith there, but at least those "inferior" leaf springs can actually go over a speed bump....:p:

I know you know your stuff so I'm taking that as a complete joke... aired up half those trucks could be near stock ride height for a 2wd truck...

Anyone else see the dodge mega cab in the latest Four Wheeler? 18" travel bags front and back so he can clear his 46's but at the same time drop down over the top of them if need be....

As I've gotten older, my tolerance for shear impracticallity has gone continuously down. While "some" may find Semi truck wheels and rocker panels laying in grass roting the paint cool, it's for all intents and purposes impractical. Same goes for 48" tires and 18" air bags.....not practical, or even street legal.:wink1:

why did you replace the tires??

were they worn out??

the rims are nice but the old ones looked more solid

its still one darn nice truck

The old tires were loud as hell on the freeway which sucks when your coming home from a long weekend of wheeling or riding. They also grabbed ruts and did other wierd things. The new tires don't do that at all.

Paint is either going to get the black redone and clear coat over the graphics, or redo the graphics entirely, I dont know yet.

I can update mine a bit. Nothing special, just cut fenders, zero rates in the front, and 11.00R16 (38x11ishR16) Michelin XL's on stock 16" 2007 GM wheels.

I think you need a little bit of lift

but otherwise it looks really good
Tom

I'd have gone with a 2" Tuff Country HD lift and 2.5" shackle flip but:

A - I'm poor

and

B -

It fits in the garage this way. Currently sitting in the garage warm(ish), dry, and safe from the road salt and snow. One day when we build or buy our next place somewhere warmer it'll have bigger garage doors and Big Ugly's getting lifted properly.

Looks like I'm going to trade for this bad boy next week........
