Lets see your 1 ton trucks. Post up a pic or two, a stock, towrig, offroader...what ever.

Lets keep it to FACTORY C/K30's though guys. Remember, the 30 is a weight rating, not an axle rating, so a 1/2 ton with a 60/14 doesn't count.;)

Saw this in the paper, I might have to go buy it...

It's only a C20 but I thought I would jump on the service body bandwagon.

What about a c10 with 1ton suspension:thinking:

It's in the process of restoration
buzzz...wrong answer. It doesn't say C or K30 on the pink slip or build sheet now does it.... hmmmm?:D

Technically... a 1 ton is only a 1 ton if it has a factory 1 ton frame, factory 1 ton suspension, and factory associated drivetrain to hold up a 1 ton weight rating (meaning a D60/14, 205, TH400 blah blah)...

True, but i figured id throw it in and i have future plans to bring the drivetrain to 1ton status.

nice new line in your first post =)

Hey! I own one of those...1979 K30, single cab, single rear wheel :D

I even have the original build sheet. It was shipped to montrose, CO from the factory, stayed on the western slope for 27 years and now pisses people off in Boulder, CO.

When I bought it:

Now:

In the future it will have a "bad-ass" flatbed, clocked 205, blah blah blah. :D

93 K3500 I'll be buying in the near future...

6.5L TD / NV4500 / NP241 HD. 4.10 14 bolt with a detriot :)

Here's a donor K30 I picked up recently. It has already lost its motor, tranny and transfer case and will be losing it's front axle to go into my 69 K20.

Here's my buddy's 70 C30 that he converted to 4wd. He now has a Dana 60 that will be going in place of the Dana 44 axle that he used when he originally converted it to 4wd.

My '85

1985 K30 SRW, 4.11:1 gears; th400/np208 with a two car garage torn down and piled on.

It now has a th350/np203; d44HD, so not a K30 anymore, but it is in the pic.
