This truck is drop dead gorgeous. I want one exactly like that. excuse while I clean up my keyboard from drooling.
Thanks. All I can say is be patient when looking for one, this one took about 8 months to find and I had to give up this for it....

Here are mine . . .

A 1984 M1010 CUCV with less than 5k original miles, and a 1988 "Forcible-Entry Fire Rescue Truck" with a 454/400/205.

tvguy, you are the reason i hate people with low mileage, nice k30s... LOL, sweet wuntuns man!!! that first one an ice truck?

More pics of numbers 1 and 2 please.

I've got all my suspension pieces in the shed awaiting the '83 K30 I've got my eyes on.

Problem is, the 6" springs have 1" zero-rates on them and I'm planning a 3" body lift. I'm beginning to think 10" overall lift is too much for 38's like you have. I've got 38" Swampers on my back porch on 12" wide Weld wheels. It would pretty much look like yours but an inch taller. I think the extra inch may be too much now.

Got more pics of it? Show more angles, too.

1983 k30

Here's my K30. It has 80k on it! I bought it from my father when I was 15, he got it from a dentist. It had been a farm truck for its whole life until I left the farm, joined the navy, and dumped several thousand into it. Its heavy and gets bad mileage, but i love my k30!

Wow, I am suprised at some of the low mileage posted up on civilian models. I thought I had a super low mileage truck when I grabbed my K30 with 93K, original.

It must be with the usual 454 powerplant combined with the extra weight, people over the years have probably driven them less than a comparable K5 or K10. A K30 isn't a very good commuter.:haha:

Seeing the amount of low mileage 30's keeps me optimistic of finding k30 crew cabs in the future for more projects and ranch trucks.

mine only had 95k on it from the original owner. he didnt want to sell it at first, but after a year of asking every couple months he decided to get a new truck. he originally ordered this truck because he knew it was the last year for them and he didnt like the new body. it is loaded, and he optioned the 4l80-e trans. the only year that this was an option I believe. there are a few c,k,v 3500 for sale around here usually. my buddy has a 1989 c3500 cc dually that he would sell for cheap, it has a rod knock. still runs and is way clean only 88k on it.

All these K30's and NOT ONE MUDDY TRUCK???? C'mon, man! Get with it! :haha:

I guess I'll hafta start a K10/K20 thread to show you K30 boys up!

Not everything is about how much mud you can make stink burning on the exhaust or who can crawl over the biggest rock.;)

:saweet: Bought a new Hobart Champion 10,000 portable welder the other day and got it in the truck. Now I'm trying to figure out which air compressor to use on this thing and which size torch bottle to go with so that they don't stick way up in the air and ruin the look of the truck.

I'm getting ready to place an order from LMC for a few more dress up items for my K30.

wish this was mine:bow: the buildup is on pirate, but its ck5 tags on the pics so its someones on here, hope they dont mind me posting:D

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, I know...just trying to provoke a little All-American Ribbing between siblings! We're all family! Whether it be MUD, rock, sand, snow or street, I have fallen in love with Chevy Full-Sizes, and it's great to see them. I just felt like I was cow poop because I'm a K10 Hybrid lil 'bro and wanna play with the big dogs! Woof!

Aawh now, if we let you post a pic will you feel better?:haha: I was just in the mood to see some older trucks towing, pulling, doing what K30's were meant to do. I figured an only 1 ton thread we would get a lot of that instead of the same 'ol wheeling pictures.
