Lets see those C/K30's....

I keep seeing that rig posted but haven't seen a build thread. What's the scoop?

I know he has a build thread over on pirate. Something like
"48" tires with no lift" Or something like that in the chevy section.

Yeah I looked at it. He did a good job. I don't think he keeps though 54s on it all the time though. In some of the pics the truck has what looks like some HMMWV tires on it.

There is a build thread on Pirate4x4. I switch tires alot, depending on what I am doing with it.

mine hasnt been in here yet.

I love the way your truck looks.

Don't remember ever posting mine. Of course I just got it in April. Got rid of the crappy fiberglass hood and installed a regular one after this pic was taken. I like the cowl hood look but you had to hold that hood up to work on it  Oh and the body lines off because the front clip is just sitting on it not bolted up or body lift blocks installed in front.

Bought it without motor so I installed the 454 out of my '72. I'll replace it with something later :D

I'll throw this one in as well. It doesn't have any of the body left (way rusted out) on it but i'll find another cab and front clip to install later. Then maybe a flat bed. :D It also has the running gears i'll be switching out for the ones in the crew. 4:56's

What kind of crappy cowl was that? Harwood?

Now that I have 5 posts, I can show you mine!

67 C-30 dually pickup - Turbo'ed 6.2/NP435 (close ratio GM version out of a '67 GMC 2500 with 351E V6)/14 bolt posi out of a '97 C3500.]

I love the car hauler, can`t see the other pic.

No idea. It never did shut right and when I took it off the brackets that held it on from the inside fell into the hood. IT was a PITA putting it on the guys truck that bought it. It was a POS but the idiot that installed it messed up all kinds of stuff on the hood latch and its pissed me off more than once

OH and I bought another crew cab dually. It's a 2wdcamper special. It's missing the bed and the drivetrain (motor, tranny) but the cab and everythings there in pretty good shape. I haven't decided if i'm gonna make it a single wheel 4wd with a flat bed on it or keep it 2wd and keep it dually. Could make another crew cab 4wd dually too but I already have one of those. I have everything to make any of these

Too many options :doah:

is that dually stock? i've never seen a dually of that vintage. cool. maybe you took the fenders off a step side and grafted them on there w/ a dually rear end added?

No, they never built them from the factory. It was cab and chassis dually, but I had to cut the frame 6", added a LWB box, and you're right - I added a dually pickup rearend from a '97 C3500, and cut down stepside fenders for the flares. I wanted to build an old school diesel dually to pull my race car.

I guess I should have said street/strip car. Its an 82 Z28 with a Dart headed 383 SB. Its a 3400# (race weight) street legal car and runs 11.30's on motor at 119 (7.20's @ 98 1/8th with 1.55 60 ft times) and has run a best of a 10.83 at 126 on a 150 HP shot (6.88 @ 103 1/8th with 1.46 60 ft time)
