Lets see those C/K30's....

Ah, the rare M1028A3.

Even rarer are the ones that weren't converted from SRW trucks. The government bought kits to turn them into dually configuration M1028A3's including rear swaybar, Dana 70 DRW, front DRW hubs, and a NP205.

Not mine (on ebay) but thought you'd guys dig this.
This has to be the rarest K30s out there. 25 plus years of army vehicle shows auctions etc, I have only seen one other.
Like the unicorn of military trucks! Lots of stories but never a photo.
Seen a few SRW crew cabs 4x4 though.
Now that I think about it, pretty sure I've never seen a mil-spec K30 dually crew.

There is a Armory in Nashville that is right next to a paver/retaining wall distribution center we use through my work. They have a few of those trucks as well as plenty of the regular SRW's, H1's, and larger military vehicles as well. I do a lot of drooling in that neighborhood.:haha:

You a landscaper too?

There's a couple SRW's and M1009's at the facility I work at. Was lobbying hard for us to get the M1009's but it fell through.

Here's my 80 K30 I found in Arizona a few years ago...

There is one of those that sits on a side road near my office in downtown Baltimore, it has a 9' blizzard brand plow on it and has had a for sale sign on the dash for years, i have had to talk myself out of it more then once :D

You're still around! Been wondering where you've been.

Nice rig, BTW. I've owned two '80 K10's way back in the day and both were LWB and both had the exact same paint scheme and colors as your rig.
Nice to see a K30 with those colors I grew up in.

New toy!

Here is my new K30. This one is a keeper! 86 Silverado K30 454. Only thing that is changing on this truck is a 91 core support swap. Have a new GM grille, bezels and just modified and reloomed the wiring harness. Have to get the core support powdercoated then it will be goin on. It may get the full Weld center covers, just found a brand new set.

Thank you! Funny, sold my last one about 4 years ago that I owned since 96 to buy a Baja boat....had enough of that! Sold the baja last weekend...back to the trucks! LOL

With power mirrors to boot! That thing is gorgeous!

Yeah I am lovin having another one! Won't be selln this one! Grille swap to match the molding and mirrors! Then either a new Gov Lock or Eaton L/S. Going to keep my eye out for a Vortec 454 to build a roller cam motor and ad 781 or 049 heads.

It gets a whole 7.88 mpg at 70mph with 4.10's and 315s!

John found another set of welds I posted in your build thread. Too far for me to get them for you though.
