I really like that a lot. I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to paint. Don't like trendy stuff like blacking everything out etc.

This is what mine looked like when I bought it. Black with a gray top and gray interior with typical clear coat pealing (kinda crappy pic, sorry):

Didn't want to break the bank on paint for a crawler, so bought a $30 sander from home depot just to scuff it up a little bit, and bought $80 worth of flat black spray paint from Walmart, and after a full Saturday and my pointer finger feeling like it was going to fall off, this is what it looks like:

What's cool about it, is if I scrap it up too bad, I just spray some more paint on there. In fact, ever sense I've did this spray paint job 4 and a half years ago, I've re-sprayed it twice. Just a stroll down to Walmart, and $40 worth of spray paint, and a couple hours and it looks like new again :flipoff13:

Except it's absorbing moisture because without clearcoat it's not water resistant.

Trust me...I don't give a freaking crap about any of that. This thing sits in my garage and only comes out to get beat on in the rocks, then I put it right back away. It's not street legal at all, so I trailer to and from the trailhead. I wanted a purpose built rig, and with that comes body damage, so all I cared about is it looking halfway decent from 10 ft away

Looks good. Should get a trigger sprayer for the spray cans. Did same thing when I paired my cage, my finger was soar as hell.
