Need to add steps to my 89 Burban 4wd. Lets see what you guys have. I cant decide if i wanna add single steps at each door or put step bars on. My shot self is having issues getting in and out.

the electric steps that run the entire length of the rocker are pretty nice, my father has those and tuck away cleanly with the door closed

this is budget conscious. my superduty doesn't even have the amp research steps. was gonna buy some cheapo step bars off evilbay but i think the truck looks better with just a hoop step. anyone have either?

I don't have them myself but I like the idea of using chain. I took my steps of because of how bad they would get hung up. If you're wheeling they wont get hung up as bad due to the give. You can get the plastic coating kind that wont rust and it's only a few bucks a foot at Lowe's' or Home Depot.

Here are DeeZee nerf bars.

Yes, if this is a frequent off-road rig, then I'd go with something besides hoops. Mine goes off-road, but nothing extreme and we don't have rocks around here. Diy4x makes some pretty sweet frame slider/steps that I may be getting during this current rebuild, but theyre way pricier than hoops.

my GF is short and always complains about getting in the truck, im just going to weld 6 or 7 links of chain together and leve the rest on eithor side free. this should not get hung up on the rocks...to much.

but i have to get out of the sandbox to make it work so i dont have any pics

I'm short as hell too. I stopped driving my orange F350 because its a bit too tall for me to get in and out of as a daily d.

Those Nfab steps are half of what i paid for the damn truck! I ordered some steps. 100 bucks for 4. We'll see how they work out.

Thanks!
