Lets talk about a 4 wheel Line-Lock to hold your truck on a hill.

those work... okay. ththier only problem is they are electric so they need a constant 12V. whats the sole purpose of it?

If you are looking for soemthing to take the place of an ebrake or to work inconjuction with look for a hydro loc, like a JAMAR one off a sandrail, they use the brakeline preasure to hold it.
I have 2 I'm plumbing into the willy's. one front and one rear. /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

You have to be able to put enough pressure into the brake lines to lock the brakes before you energize one of those. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The only problem with the Line Locks from Summit and Jegs is that they are not rated for continuious use. They recommend the solenoids do not stay enguaged for more than 1 minute periods.

I'm looking into the Hyrdraulic kits myself!
