Lets talk Snatch...... Blocks that is!!!!!

aight... so since my winch will ship tomorrow....
I am looking at snatch blocks... saw one on ebay from warn... 16k snatch block... well does that mean it can only handle 16k max or does that mean to use with up to a 16k winch?

I only ask because then there are a ton of atv ones... @ 20,000lb rating??? what gives?

the atv ones were $20 and the warn was like $60??????

gonna start getting a list of stuff to carry for the winch.. .like thick gloves!!!!

I'd check out the ABR snatch block, rated to 30K

I got one for my buddy for around $60 I believe

The 16,000 lbs rating is the total pulling weight rated for the block. That is "rated" to handle a 8,000 lbs winch.

Ramsey winch has blocks rated up to 30,000 lbs. or for use on a 15,000 lbs. winch...

I was in the Tractor Supply store the other day and noticed they carry a some big Warn snatch blocks but I don't remeber the price..





And for the record I did see some nice SNATCH in there too
