After a 2yr wait, I finally got my '87 Blazer titled transfered & legally licensed. I drove it to work and after work I came out to a pudddle of water & antifreeze mix!!! It didn't overheat,...I drove it home, and now I'm trying to find where its actually coming from. It leaked from the left side of the radiator area,..and the drain valve is closed.

It's probably leaking out the weep hole on your water pump. Time for a new pump.

Does the radiator cap have pressure on it when the engine is warm? I had a cap go bad, and when I'd shut the engine off, it would puke coolant out if the overflow tube.

I just dropped it off at the local radiator shop,...right about when he was closing up,..so he'll look at it in the morning. But I told him what had happened and that I did replace the lower hose on awahile back. But since I've just had it relicensed,...I would rather have a operarable running rig then a overheated one. Hopefully the diagnosis wont have to be too costly.

Well what can I say,..new water pump & a new radiator. Now the expenses are coming in,...or should I say investment into my project is underway. Ha,..and for now the other rides take a backseat!!! While I invest into my '87 K5 Chevy Blazer...
