im sure this has been asked before but how high can i lift my 77 K5 without having to get a drop pitman arm?

im wanting to lift it 4in for a little more tire clearance and can get the springs for next to nothing but im wanting to know what else i may need

You can get away with a 4" lift and no steering correction, but it will work much better if you use a dropped pitman arm or a raised steering arm. If you don't use anything for steering correction you will have to lengthen the drag link and you will have a better left hand turning radius then your right hand turning radius.

If you buy a dropped pitman arm or a raised steering arm you can use your drag link the way it is (you may have to lengthen it alittle) and have the same turning radius you have now.

I never thought about the turning radius being affected. Always thought bump-steer would be the only issue.
