Lift for 33's?

Re: Lift for 33\'s?

If you are not getting swampes then you will be ok b/c most tires like bf and some radials dont sit as high.

[/ QUOTE ]Ok,in what way? Are you saying no lift if they are 35in Bfg's and they will fit? I am looking at pro-comp 35in mud terrains with 3in of lift on my burb, would 3in work with that particular tire?

anyone have an opinion on 35s and no lift

My opinion is that you have to hack at the fenders and it looks really dumb. I prefer at least 6" on 35's...I'm running 10" on 35x16 boggers.

how about 35's? whats the least amount of lift a to fit and got any pics?

all depends on tire choise, rim width, BS, and tire width.

Im running a set of Q78 TSL's on 5.5" wide junkyard special rims, they have somewhere arround 4" of BS. On the uber skinny rims the tires measure out to 36.125" tall, and just over 10.5 wide. I have a 2" BL, and that is it. No trimming, and they dont rub.

I also have 33x12.5" BFG's on stock rims that will rub a little at full lock/stuff. They almost clear, but not quite.

That looks cool.I like that you didn't have to hack the fenders.I'm trying to achieve a simiular look only with 35s and factory rallys painted black.I like the filled out wheel well look and I want to use as little lift/trim as possible

i'll second that. the tire fitment charts just give you an idea, but there are too many variables to give a cut and dry answer.

i put 33x12.50s on my blazer w/ stock lift and 15x8 & 4"BS.
rubbed pulling into driveways. put a 3" lift on it and it would rub at full stuff. with 33" TSLs on 15x10 w/ 3.5 BS they tore up my fenders.

i finally trimmed the bottom section of the fender and no more problems. now i think i'll trim a bit more and squeeze 35's in there.

Something about 17 year old stock springs and tires that say 35x12.50x15R on them.

That's what the 31's w/ 4" lift looked like /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
Now it's 35's with some fender trimming and the same lift.
