ive got a 1987 chevy truck that im swapping 8 lug dana 44 and a 14 bolt ff during the process ive got the componet box from skyjacker on the way but im peicing the lift togehter because no one offers a striaght 8 inch suspension with out blocks i wanting to no what else i need to order to put on the lift wat pitman arm and so on ..... also im goin to do the disk brake conversion on the rear axles i just wanna get the brackets because i work at a parts store im just looking for a list of parts and were i might need to go and get them ........

Dude... Try to at least use a period or comma here and there... That sh*t is almost unreadable...

The rear disc brackets are available from almost every vendor on this site.. Take a peek in that forum... I like Kerts over at http://diy4x.com/brakes.htm

And I'd go crossover with that much lift and a shackle flip out back too...

ok but if i go with that big of a lift is there a real need in doing the cross over steering conversion.... cuase i plan on later swaping a d60 in the front when i can find one

For sure! I only have six inches of lift and it sucks having the standard push-pull steering. Every time it flex it out, the steering is terrible. I have been in situations when the steering wheel was turned all the way to the left but the tires were turned fully to the right:eek1:. Next summer when I go with the D60, x-over is a sure add-on.

Also, you will find some great info if you use the search feature. Spend an hour or two and you'll know all you need to know.

so what do i need to do order the 8 inch springs or a 6 inch with a shackle flip the springs will be cheaper tho..

dude i thank i really dont wanna trim tho but thats wat it looks like ima have to do is that crossover steering for the dana 44 interchangable with the 60 i no the knuckles arent

You could reuse the drag link, but when you swapped over to a D60 you would have to get a new steering arm. How big of a tire are you planning on running on that D44?
