I have a1979 blazer 4x4,350, I just purchased a used 6 inch super lift kit.The problem im having is i can not get the pin on the bottom of the leaf spring to go into the hole on the front end passenger side. It went in on the drivers side fine. I was just wondering if i have to drill it out a little bit or should i just keep trying to get the pin in the hole. any help or suggestions would be awesome.

The pin should fit, but sometimes (most of the time?) it might be hard to get it lined up properly. I might unbolt the spring to see if the pin fits the hole first; then the question is answered :) If it doesn't fit... then something just isn't right.

Good luck!

Had to grind a bevel on the pin on my springs to get it to fit the passenger side.

There are different sized center pins. You may have to drill the hole, get a new center pin, grind the head of the center pin etc.

Sometimes the size of the center pin is an issue. You probably already figured this out, but you also don't want to tighten down the other side until you get both pins in, as sometimes a little wiggle room is needed.

grind the pin slightly until it fits properly. do not drill out the pad, you can always get a new pin if needed if you go too far. I had a simillar issue when installing some add-a-leafs on my old '90 XJ.
